Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Offertory Counters

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week.

Parish Pastoral Council

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. Contact: Deacon Charles @ cdhindbaugh@rcdoc.org

Sacristan

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.

Food Pantry

Provides hot meals on a monthly basis to the homeless at First Baptist Church in Biscoe, NC. Contact: Liz Jefferson.

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Please call the office. 910-974-3051

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Assists in the distribution of Holy Communion contact: Judy Collins.

Fellowship Committee

Flowers and Grounds

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.

Greeters

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Lectors

The ministry of the lector calls for a person to grow in a warm & loving knowledge of Scripture, and proclaim God's living Word to all of His people. This ministry is a wonderful work, and an extremely rewarding ministry.

Ushers

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection. Contact: Denise Hale

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.
